The Komptech Terminator e-mobile is a semi-mobile electric-powered shredder designed for efficiently processing various waste materials like municipal solid waste and bulky waste. It combines the flexibility of a mobile machine with the energy efficiency and low emissions of a stationary electric one, saving up to 70% in energy costs and reducing maintenance requirements. The machine uses an electric motor to drive the hydraulic system, which in turn powers the shredding drum, and it can be powered by renewable energy sources.

The new e-mobile series adds semi-mobile electric-powered versions to the line-up, featuring maintenance-free electric motors instead of diesel engines. The concept combines the compact design and flexibility of a mobile machine with the energy efficiency of a stationary machine.

The Terminator is able to shred the most difficult materials. Everything is shred to the desired particles size. Applications with drum/opposing comb system variants range from coarse pre-crushing to defined shredding.

High energy efficiency
The electric motor instead of a diesel engine offers a significant advantage in energy costs with its high efficiency. With comparable throughput, 70 % of the energy costs can be saved compared to diesel.

Coarse or fine
The continuous cutting gap adjustment allows tailoring of the produced particle size to subsequent usage. Completely swivelling of the counter comb provides perfect accessibility for maintenance of the shredding area. Loading made easy Load material into the big hopper — the machine does the rest. Hydraulic folding hopper sidewalls make the already generous shredding chamber even bigger, for a loading volume of up to seven cubic metres.
