The Metalfex adds a mobile non-ferrous metal separator to the Komptech line. Designed for conveyor feed, the Metalfex has its own intake conveyor and an overhead ferrous separator upstream of non-ferrous separation. It removes non-ferrous metals using an eddy current separator with eccentric pole system, discharging the metals and the cleaned fraction by two folding conveyors to the left and right of the machine.

All components are electrically powered, from the on-board diesel generator or from grid current. The Metalfex is available as a compact hook lift version and as an easily maneuverable two-axle trailer.

ADVANATAGES

The Metalfex is a specialist piece of equipment for use in waste processing and recycling facilities. Its features include:

• Separation: It uses an overbelt magnet for effective ferrous metal removal and an eddy current separator with an eccentric pole system for non-ferrous metals.
• Material Compatibility: It can handle input sizes up to 300 mm from materials such as shredded waste wood, bulk waste, industrial, commercial, household, and mixed construction waste.
• Mobility & Throughput: It is available in a trailer or hook lift configuration, offering a high throughput of up to 160 m³/h.

Features

• Non-ferrous separation: Utilizes an eccentric pole system eddy current separator for precise results.
• Ferrous separation: An upstream overbelt magnet removes iron.
• Discharge: Non-ferrous metals and the cleaned fraction are output on two folding conveyors with adjustable discharge heights.
• Feeding: Equipped with its own intake conveyor. Filling width is 1,600 mm.
